When you learn to Think; You Think and Solve..: 4th Grade
In 1985, Dr Edward de Bono invented a revolutionary way of thinking: Six Thinking Hats. They are a powerful and important form of decision making which makes one to move outside one’s comfort zone of critical thinking and helps to explore other avenues. The 4th Grade English Teachers of WGS have implemented the concept of Six Thinking Hats in their classrooms. Students were happy to wear the six thinking hats with each student getting to wear a hat of one of the six colours and think out of box in varied aspects of the topic chosen. They were glad to work in collaboration with each other and present their views individually. This novel method enhanced the thinking skills of students and instilled a love for learning in them. This was a memorable and enriching experience for the students that will enable them to scale greater heights.
