On 30 October 2018, the students ofgrade IX and X participated in the Marketing Strategy Event as a part of CCA inthe school. Marketing Strategy is a long term, forward looking approach toplanning with the fundamental goal achieving a sustainable competitiveadvantage. The product that the students had to work with was ‘water bottle’.The students had to plan everything right from the cost of manufacturing to theideal selling price keeping in mind the additional costs, like advertisement costs , discounts to attract customersand other offers. The student strategically planned about their targetcustomers and the various markets in which they would launch their product.This was a group activity and the student did quiet well, they came up withinnovative ideas and great plans to market their product. The student also gaveexemplary replies to the question asked by the judges. All the teams didextremely well and it was a real treat to watch the event
