“With a monologue, you can be unendingly elliptical.” – Mike Birbiglia Whitefield Global School has always believed in holistic development of students. This time it was through the Monologue Competition. They were asked to come prepared on various topics. For Grade III it was Dramatic Monologue-What I like to invent for Mankind, Grade IV- Humorous Monologue- “Too busy” is just a myth, Grade V- Fictional World-Spooky Monologues. Our students gave their best and performed superbly on the day of the event. They left no stone unturned in giving their best on the stage. Grade III was seen dramatizing the topics really well, Grade IV presented their topics in the most humorous way, and Grade V went spooky on the dais. Their performance was adjudged on the basis of the emotions they projected, their diction, characterization and the memorization of their dialogues. Our judges of the event Mrs. Sakila S.N and Mrs. Saranya Ravy judged the event. Their feedback was that they had a great time judging the event and that it was also a learning experience for them.
