One of the nicest benefits of writing is that you are always learning. Writers are great observers of the world and of people. -Margaret George. The objective set by our school for its students is to inculcate the passion for creative thinking and writing. To achieve this objective our young authors were given the opportunity to showcase their creative thinking and writing skills through poems, stories, riddles, articles, drawings and sketches. Our young enthusiastic writers of Grade 1 and 2 left no stone unturned along with the support of their parents to pen down their ideas for the Class Magazine – 2 on the themes of ‘Autumn/Fall in Nature’ for Grade 1 and ‘Culture and Traditions of India’ for Grade 2. The class teachers guided the children to compile the articles and present their class magazine with an eye-catching cover page, appealing editor’s note and comprehensive content contributed by the children. The magazines were adjudged on various rubrics like the creative thinking and contribution of the child for the article, presentation of cover page, compilation, editor’s note, etc. The quality of work and passion by the children and the teachers on the magazines gave our judges a real tough time to decide on the best and most well-presented Class magazine-2. No matter who the winner is, we believe that this whole activity adds lot of value, builds up one’s creativity and stretches their thinking skills
