Grade 5th – 8th “A journey into space” Field trips or educational tours always have an everlasting effect on a child; they tend paste a picture or knowledge permanently on a child’s mind. On 23rd and 24th of November, grades 5-8 of Whitefield Global School went for a field trip to the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, Bangalore. The children showed immense enthusiasm to explore the world beyond. This visit to space was thoroughly enjoyed by the students. They learnt a lot about the different planets, their natural satellites, the artificial satellites sent by the different countries and other heavenly bodies. This awe-inspiring journey into space would certainly enable the students to visualize their every learning about space.
