On occasion of International Yoga Day (21 June), Whitefield Global School is celebrating this entire week (21 June – 25 June) as Mental Well-being week. Various activities regarding mental well-being have been planned for students during daily morning assemblies.
Day 3 : Morning Assembly started with Vande Mataram Song followed by Thought for the day. Students learned new word of the day which is ‘Tranquility’, meaning – an untroubled state that is free from disturbances.
Students enthusiastically took part in meditation which was conducted during assembly by respective teacher -in charges. They realized the importance and benefits of meditation through this activity. After meditating for 2-3 minutes, students started their learning process of the day with zeal and full of energy.
The assembly was concluded with Students singing National Anthem.
