The atmosphere was filled with eagerness and the audience were ecstatic to listen to their extremely talented friends who were ready to live up to the expectation of the judges. We are here talking about the shipwreck competition, CCA activity conducted in our school on 4 th of July.

This activity helps in enhancing convincing skills and creativity of the students. In this activity, the students are given a famous personality to be represented. Two students, they debate on why they deserve the sole life jacket left on a ship wreck. The judges are the captain of the ship and they decide, who should receive the last life jacket. Their decision is based upon the points the students give on behalf of the famous personality. The judges also ask questions to the candidates, after which if they are convinced by the answer, they declare the winner who gets the jacket.

For the spectators, the activity is very enjoyable and beneficial. It helps us develop our confidence, creativity, time management, manipulation and convincing abilities. This event exposes the children to interesting and new ways of presenting themselves in front of great mass.
