We are happy that WGS and MBRDI (Mercedes Benz Research & DeveIopement India) launched Mobile Kids Road Safety Program on 9th July, 2018.

Overnight the entire WGS premises was transformed into an intricate layout of roads loaded with all road symbols and safety features and obviously some Mercedes vehicles Our students were pleasantly amazed to see this change on the Monday morning.

Many delegates and volunteers of MBRDI were marching all around having fun time, while interacting and collaborating over safety awareness with Grade V students who were part of this pilot program. Students showed a great flare and awareness when touched upon their fundamental knowledge.

Our Chairman Dr C Purna ChandraRao gave few valuable inputs to the students regarding appropriate safety measure on Indian roads which were extremely relevant.

Students demonstrated great discipline in completing their turn, on tandem cycles and bi-cycles while learning basic road rules.

Last but not the least the mascot of the program MoKi ( MobileKids) took the centre stage and interacted with all with his roly-poly gestures. The pictures will say it all.

We do not stop here. A very comprehensive program will educate our students of Grade IV-V-VIin the coming months by international trainers from Synergy , an NGO, working hand in hand with MBRDI.
