With a focuson creating more awareness of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics,an EXPO was organised at Whitefield Global School on 5th July, 2018. Our Chairman, Dr C Purna Chandra Rao inaugurated the event and appreciated those candid presentations. The COO, Mrs Sri Nandini, and our Academic Director Mrs.Sarada Chandrasekaran were also present and gave their valuable reflections on classroom arrangements and teachers’ guidance to students in handling of instruments. ‘With the key objective of encouraging,popularizing and inculcating a scientific temper in students, STEM Ahead.., was organised’ said, Mrs. Nina Mukhopadhaya, the Headmistress for Primary Segment. 
A total of 600 students across Grades III to Vportrayed exhibits spanning various branches of Science- Electronics,Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Aerodynamics, Sound waves, Light theory, Food Science, Psychology, Anatomy and Physiology, and many science theories relatingthe same to everyday life. All important and interesting concepts were dealt with very easily available accessories. This exhibition, not only gave them an opportunity to expose themselves to more advanced science, but also helped them to hone their communication skills with a step forward towards their all-round development. The working models and the prototypes handled by the student searned everybody’s commendation. 
We believe that all these were possible withstudents’ innate ability and parents’ support.
