“You earn your trophies at practice and you just pick them at competitions”. WGS was the proud host of WINGS OF FIRE – Inter school competition on the 2nd and 3rd of July 2018. We had a commendable participation from around 10 schools for scholastic and 16 schools for Sports in and around Whitefield. The scholastic events were Story telling with puppet, Collage making, RJ Funny Bone, Miming and Quiz whereas the Sports events were Basketball, Table tennis and Football. It was agreat platform for children of different schools to showcase their talent and exhibit their skills in front of respectable judges and audience. It was a beautiful learning experience for all the children. Master Sheshanth of Grade 4was the winner in Under 9 Boys Table Tennis tournament. The Football Team – A,Under 9 (Mustafa, Aaron, Animesh, Vivaan, Harshil, Dwithik, Chaithanya andParthiv) were the winners. Master Vivaan was declared as the best player of the tournament. The students of WGS proudly gave away their winning trophies for some events to prove that they were “Sportive Hosts”. The sportiveness of the children depicts the value that they are carrying for a lifetime. A special thanks to all the judges, teachers, mentors for being a part of WINGS OF FIRE-2018-2019 and making it a grand success.
