No matter how hard the past is, you can always begin again.” —Buddha
We, the teachers and staff at WGS constantly strive to go deeper and adapt to the current development of education. Therefore we prefer to adhere to the people-oriented concept which can fully realize human values and values of education. We always work hard to stimulate the potential of our students, promote personality development of the students and effectively foster humanistic values in them.
Keeping such a vision in mind we began our new academic session 2021-22 with vigour and vibrancy. On 4th and 5th March we had our Induction Programme for the session 2021-22 in which the teachers were acquainted with the new methodologies to be adopted in classroom teaching learning process keeping the NEP in mind. The programme began with the invocation song and lighting of the lamp as we sought blessings of the Almighty for a smooth academic journey. The new teachers were welcomed whole heartedly by our secondary head Mrs Arpita Tripathy. Our dynamic Academic Director Dr Sarada Chandrasekaran took us to this journey of learning new techniques and how they can be implemented in classroom scenarios. We all enthusiastically took part in various activities regarding the techniques as she had awakened the students in us.
The heart-warming Induction Programme invigorated the day with energy and new ideas as we were given an insight on WGS culture, comprising all our good practices and embracing changing perspectives. It was addressed time and again that our job is to prepare students to think in this rapidly changing scenario, such that they can decide on the path to resolve any situation on their own because at the end, it is students who are the heroes of our story.
