The Sanskrit Assembly, led by our Sanskrit students, was a beautiful blend of tradition, learning, and celebration. The morning began with the profound thought: “This is my own and that is a stranger – such is the thinking of narrow minds. For the broad-minded, however, the whole earth is one family.” A soulful prayer reminded us that just as food nourishes the body, good thoughts nourish the mind, while the Thought for the Day spread the message of unity. The Birthday Song in Sanskrit added joy to the occasion, and the Word of the Day segment introduced new vocabulary in Sanskrit, English, and Kannada, making learning engaging.
Students also presented the news, a melodious shloka, a national song, and a vibrant dance performance Bhavatu Bharatam, invoking the vision of India as strong, wise, and rooted in culture and righteousness. Principal Ma’am’s inspiring words and the reflection on the Learning Outcome highlighted the richness of Sanskrit and India’s cultural heritage.
The assembly concluded with gratitude, leaving everyone inspired and proud of our traditions.
