Cartooning, the art of creating humorous or satirical images through illustrations and drawings formed the topic of CCA Event 7 for the students of the upper primary segment. The students enthusiastically participated and exhibited their artistic skills on the theme of Joy/Love. Grade 3 and 4 drew their favourite characters with enchanting slogans based on the theme, while grade 5 created a storyline with their favourite cartoon characters.

They came up with myriad ideas, combining images and text with interesting punchlines which enhanced the overall impact of the cartoon. They created colourful works of art with powerful messages all revolving around the theme.

Our judges, Dr. Sanju Mishra- HOD-Hindi and Sanskrit and Ms. Rintu George, HOD- English faced the most difficult task of finalising the winners based on various rubrics.

The winners stood apart with their imagination, critical thinking skills, and ability to communicate effectively.

This event presented a wonderful platform for our young minds to not only showcase their skills but also find different ways to resonate with the ever-changing society at large.
