'Whitefield Global School proudly hosted the Interdisciplinary Symposium, "Samhitanavachara," on 15th August 2024, as part of the school's Independence Day celebrations. The event showcased the power of collaboration across various fields of study, bringing together students, educators, and a distinguished panel of judges, each an expert in their respective domains.'

The symposium featured two main segments: an expo by students from grades 9 and 10 and research paper presentations by students from grades 11 and 12. The expo allowed younger students to creatively explore and present interdisciplinary projects, demonstrating their understanding of how different subjects intersect in real-world applications. Meanwhile, the older students presented research papers, reflecting rigorous academic inquiry and the synthesis of knowledge across multiple disciplines. The event was judged by an esteemed panel that included: Mr. Arup Purkayastha: A leading expert in thermoelectric materials and founder of ULTRANANOTECH. Dr. Nivedita Singh: A researcher in molecular virology and super-resolution microscopy. Mr. Pinkustar Borah: IT head for Hindustan Unilever's South Asia sales. Mr. Ramanan Reghunathan: Global Digital & Ecommerce Business Leader at Autodesk. Dr. Ruqaya: An experienced clinical psychologist. Dr. Aravind Chandramouli: Head of the AI Center of Excellence at Tredence. Mr. Saurabh Singhal: A production engineer turned software engineer at Infosys. Mr. Vivek Sagar: A computer science graduate from Cambridge Institute of Technology. "Samhitanavachara" was more than just a convergence of different fields; it was a genuine integration of diverse perspectives. The symposium inspired participants and the audience to think beyond traditional boundaries, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary approaches in addressing the complex challenges of the modern world.
