The "Speak on the Spot" activity at Whitefield Global School (WGS) was an outstanding platform that allowed upper primary students to showcase their oratory skills and quick-thinking abilities.

The intra-round, held on 10th January, served as an exciting warm-up where students chose from a range of thought-provoking topics such as "Digital India," "Clean India Mission," "Unity in Diversity," and "The Power of Sports." With only two minutes to prepare, they confidently stepped up to the podium, delivering speeches with clarity, passion, and conviction.

The event's momentum continued with the inter-round on 17th January, where the top speakers from the intra-rounds faced off in the "Values that Shape Us" storytelling challenge. Teams were assigned different values and tasked with preparing a 3–5-minute role-play, demonstrating how these values guide their actions and contribute to personal growth, teamwork, and communication. The competition tested participants on content, delivery, creativity, and time management, with each team displaying impressive poise and originality.

This event proved to be more than just a speaking competition. It was a stimulating exercise in thinking on one's feet, fostering eloquence, and encouraging critical thinking. A resounding success, it boosted students' confidence and celebrated their ability to express themselves with creativity and clarity, all while representing their houses with enthusiasm and pride.
