A special assembly was conducted by the Social Studies Department to commemorate Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas), honouring the adoption of the Indian Constitution on 26th November 1949.
The programme highlighted the core values that guide India—justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, thoughtfully embedded in the Constitution by the Constituent Assembly under the leadership of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the principal architect of this historic document.
Students presented an informative skit titled “The Making of the Constitution”, showcasing the great vision behind establishing our nation’s supreme law. The celebration was further enriched with a patriotic dance performance themed “We – The People”, reflecting unity, pride, and citizenship.
The assembly reinforced the importance of understanding our rights, fulfilling our duties, and upholding the principles that strengthen the unity and progress of our country. It encouraged students to be responsible citizens who contribute to building a better tomorrow for India.
A proud tribute to the Constitution that empowers us all!
