A Special Assembly celebrating the richness, beauty and timeless heritage of Sanskrit was beautifully presented by the Sanskrit Department of Whitefield Global School for students of Grades 1 to 5 with great enthusiasm and joy.
The entire programme was conducted in Sanskrit, giving students a wonderful opportunity to appreciate the language and showcase their speaking and presentation skills.
The assembly began with Shloka Chanting, where students recited Sanskrit shlokas with clear pronunciation, rhythm and confidence, creating a serene and spiritually uplifting atmosphere.
This was followed by the Thought for the Day and News in Sanskrit, with students presenting important national, international, sports and other current events. The presentation beautifully demonstrated that Sanskrit, while deeply rooted in our heritage, can also be used meaningfully in modern communication.
The highlight of the assembly was a graceful dance presentation based on Sanskrit shlokas. Through expressive movements, elegant gestures, rhythm and emotions, the dancers brought the meaning of the shlokas to life. The beautiful fusion of Sanskrit verses and dance created a mesmerising presentation that received warm appreciation from the audience.
The assembly concluded with an inspiring message encouraging students to learn, respect and promote Sanskrit. The programme offered a meaningful glimpse into India's rich linguistic and cultural heritage while making Sanskrit engaging and relevant for young learners.
✨ A heartfelt appreciation to the Sanskrit Department for presenting an enriching assembly that beautifully brought together language, knowledge, music, dance and Indian tradition for our young learners.
