On September 2nd, our Grade 11 & 12 Mass Media students from WGS got an exclusive look inside the Times of India plant, Bommasandra.
From layout and plate‑making to giant newsprint rolls and high‑speed presses 📰, they watched newspapers come alive — printed, folded, and bundled in minutes.
They explored the tech side ⚙️ — ink calibration, computer‑to‑plate systems, quality checks — and discovered how editorial, ads, and distribution race against deadlines ⏰ to reach readers by dawn.
Beyond the machines, the visit revealed the bigger picture 🌍: waste management, digital integration, and the future of print media.
This wasn’t just a trip. It was real‑world learning in motion — bridging classroom theory with industry practice. 💡
