Our latest Book Club session for students was a heartwarming exploration of how communication goes far beyond spoken language. Through the reading of a Japanese-adapted story and curated videos, children discovered the beauty of expressing emotions and ideas through art, silence, and creativity.
The session inspired students to explore neurodiversity, empathy, and inclusion through origami and visual art—expressing “silent conversations” that showed how imagination and emotions can connect beyond words. 🌟
In the follow-up activity, children created origami pieces in groups, shared their meanings, and reflected on the unspoken connections that go beyond language.
This Book Club not only nurtured a love for literature and art but also instilled values of understanding, inclusion, and emotional intelligence—making it a truly moving experience for all. 💫
