WGS hosted an impactful Coffee Connect session for the parents of Grades XI & XII, focusing on how adolescents today navigate addictive behaviours, digital influences, peer pressure, and academic stress during their crucial senior years.
Our Principal, Dr. Sita Shankar, led a meaningful discussion on rising concerns such as vaping, social media addiction, emotional vulnerability, and unhealthy coping mechanisms linked to academic pressure. She also shared the school’s initiatives—counselling support, life skills classes, expert talks, close teacher-student monitoring, and community safety measures to curb access to harmful substances.
Parents actively contributed valuable insights on digital discipline, open communication, confidence-building, and the importance of non-judgmental conversations at home. The session reflected a strong partnership between school and parents to ensure our teens grow into healthy, balanced, and resilient young adults.
Together, we continue to create a safe, supportive environment where every child can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. 💙✨
