Quiz competitions have long been a staple of intellectual pursuits, offering participants a unique platform to showcase their knowledge across a wide range of subjects. These events bring together individuals with a passion for learning, quick thinking, and the desire to test their wits against challenging questions. These events promote critical thinking, enhance general knowledge, and foster teamwork.

The atmosphere was charged with anticipation and excitement as students of the Upper Primary segment delved into the thrilling world of quiz competitions as part of the CCA 8 event, QuestFest.

Students from Grade 3 tackled questions on the ‘Solar System’. Grade 4 students tested their knowledge about ‘Mountains and Rivers', and Grade 5 students were challenged on their knowledge of ‘National and International Leaders’. The winners of the intra-round were put into teams according to their houses for the finals.

After several gruelling rounds, the first-place position was bagged by the Sapphire Team, comprising of Havishnu-3W, Khushi Rawat-4W, Abhay D-5A, and R Madhav- 5F. They were followed closely by the runner-up Emerald Team comprising of Sai Pratishta- 3W, Shreshta- 4D, Nived Jamun Sunil-5F and Nimeesha Nayak-5W.

As these students engaged in the exhilarating world of quiz competitions, they not only acquired knowledge but also developed skills and attitudes that will serve them well in their academic journey and beyond. Kudos to the winners as well as the participants for creating a competitive environment and pushing them to produce their best work.
