Whitefield Global School celebrated the graduation day for the Class XII of 2024 on 19th January 2024, a memorable event marking the culmination of our students' hard work and dedication.
The day began with a spectacular graduation walk led by our esteemed Vice Chairman, Mr. Srinivas Kumar, alongside the Chief Guest, Mr. Dinesh Kumar, Commandant of the Indo-Tibet Border Police Force. They were joined by Dr. Sarada Chandrasekharan, Director Academics; Dr. Sita Shankar, Principal; Ms. Deepa S., Vice Principal; Ms. Sakila Sarvanaraja, Senior Coordinator; dedicated teachers; and, most importantly, the stars of the day, the graduating class of 2024.
The auspicious lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries set a solemn tone for the day's events. Ms. Deepa S., our Vice Principal, extended a formal welcome to the dignitaries. Teachers then blessed the graduates, sharing readings from various sacred texts.
The inaugural speech by our Principal, Dr. Sita Shankar, was both touching and motivational, urging the graduates to continue their journey with courage and determination. Dr. Sarada Chandrasekharan, Director of Academics, followed with an inspirational speech, encouraging the students to pursue their dreams with tenacity.
The keynote address by the Chief Guest, Mr. Dinesh Kumar, was a highlight of the day, offering profound insights and wisdom to the young graduates. The Presidential Address by our Vice Chairman Mr. Srinivas Kumar resonated with encouragement and vision, urging the students to carry forward the legacy of excellence and integrity.
A pivotal moment was witnessed when Head Boy Akash Tarun George and Head Girl Reethika Banerjee passed the flag to Bhuvi Goel, the Discipline Incharge, symbolising the transfer of responsibilities to the next generation.
The candle lighting and oath ceremony led by the Principal and Vice Principal, along with the graduates, was a solemn affirmation of the graduates' commitment to uphold the values and knowledge imbibed during their schooling.
A unique toast was raised by the Grade XI students to honour their seniors, reciprocated with gratitude by the graduating class. In a gesture of appreciation and respect, the Class of 2024 presented a memento to the school, followed by the school bestowing mementos to the graduates, signifying their achievement and the school's pride in their accomplishments.
The Grade XI students gave musical and dance performances, adding vibrancy to the event. The proceedings concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Senior Coordinator Ms. Sakila Sarvanaraja and the National Anthem, leaving the graduates and attendees imbued with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
