🌾 Makar Sankranti Celebrations at WGS 🌾

The special assembly by the Kannada Department and Emerald House beautifully blended wellness and culture. Beginning with a calming yoga session, students explored the festival’s regional diversity (Pongal, Bihu), enjoyed vibrant kite-themed dances, and witnessed a powerful dance drama honouring farmers and their tireless efforts.

An engaging plant-growth exhibition highlighted the journey from seed to harvest, fostering respect for food and farmers. The celebration echoed gratitude to the Sun God and the spirit of new beginnings—may our dreams soar as high as the kites above! 🪁✨
