'Week 4 Activities for Grades 1 and 2 at Whitefield Global School'

Living and Non-Living Sorting Activity: Students engaged in a hands-on exercise where they identified and sorted names into boxes labeled "living" and "non-living." This activity helped them recognize and differentiate between living and non-living things, highlighting their ability to observe, classify, and categorize. They also compared various items accordingly, reinforcing their understanding of these concepts. Exploring Plants: Students enthusiastically explored the importance of plants in daily life. They assessed each part's unique characteristics and elaborated on useful plant products. A vibrant supermarket setup in the classroom allowed children to explore different sections and make lists of items they wanted to buy, realizing that most supermarket products come from plants. This interactive experience deepened their appreciation for plants and their role in our lives. Computer Skills: Students learned to enjoy using a computer to create and save simple documents. They practiced typing their names, writing short sentences, and applying basic formatting options, developing essential digital literacy skills in a fun and supportive environment. Hindi Class: The engaging "ek vachan and bahu vachan" activity made learning singular and plural nouns enjoyable and memorable. This activity encouraged language development and enhanced students' understanding of Hindi grammar.
