Whitefield Global School (WGS) students demonstrated exceptional brilliance at the World Scholars Cup Regional Round hosted at Greenwood High School in Bangalore on January 20th and 21st, 2024. Fielding five teams, our students not only secured qualifications for the upcoming Global Round but also amassed an impressive collection of 54 gold medals, 47 silver medals, and 9 trophies.
Team No. 1, led by Vedant Rai, Vedant Shenoy, and Nathan Philip John, achieved an outstanding 2nd place overall in the senior category. They clinched numerous accolades, including 1st place in collaborative writing, 3rd place in Team Debate, and 5th place in the scholars bowl. Team No. 2, featuring Chaarvi V, Poorthika Sai, and Tejasvi Balaji, received a well-deserved trophy for their 5th place in Collaborative Writing. Teams No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5 also delivered exceptional performances, each securing qualifications for the prestigious Global Round.
This remarkable success not only stands as a testament to the dedication of our students but also underscores the invaluable mentorship provided by Ms. Nikita Sabharwal. As all five teams gear up for the Global Round across eight different countries, the entire school community takes immense pride in this significant achievement and eagerly anticipates further international success.
