The Times NIE Spotlight Competition (2025–2026) held its finals at Sindhi High School, Hebbal, Bengaluru, on January 5, 2026, providing a prestigious platform for young musicians from various schools to showcase their talent. The event featured a wide range of musical categories, including Indian Classical and Light Classical Vocal & Instrumental, Percussion, and Group Performances, celebrating the richness of Indian music.

Students of WGS participated with great enthusiasm and brought immense pride to the school through their exceptional performances. Pragya Narasimman of Grade-6 delivered stellar renditions and emerged victorious in two categories —

* Indian Classical Vocal (Solo)

Further adding to WGS’s success, Vibhav Narasimman of Grade 10 showcased remarkable musical excellence and secured a win in the category of Indian Classical Vocal (Solo).
